Mikado is a seating piece that can be used in different ways and placed in different ways. The difference in long and short sides of the object make the possibilities endless, from a group meeting to sitting towards or away from each other, crossways or any other way. Many public spaces use repetition in furniture to easily create enough seatingplaces. When a space contains only of the same pieces repeated endlessly, it can become boring, and uninviting to people. Through rotation Mikado optically becomes different, allowing a space to use Mikado many times over without losing interest.

Mikado is designed in request of Inter.National.Design. Mikado is entirely environmental friendly, designed from left over material of a design project in Istanbul.
